STA providing advise on protection and strategic of copyrights. Procurement of registration of copyright in both Saudi Arabia and abroad including the preparation and prosecution of application for software recordation and writing, sound, drawing, photography, motion pictures, the right of the author is protected for his lifetime and for a period of 50 years after his death.

Requirements:

Literary works and others:

• Two copies of the work.
• A detailed explanation of the software with specification of it's contents.
• The name and identity of the author.
• An undertaking that the work is not quoted that means the author own invention- if the opposite is proven the application will be cancelled.
• Power of attorney legalized up to Saudi consulate.
• A permission from the Ministry of information allowing to circulate the work.

Copyrights registration outside Saudi Arabia, information shall be provided upon request.
